A hidden gem in Lincolnshire!
Just back from long weekend at Barff Farm, what a gem of a site! Beautifully maintained grass field , with a brook running through it with a bridge and landscaped like it is your own big back garden. Met by Michelle and told about the area and allowed to park anywhere and we were there with another unit.
Large quantity of dog walks straight from the site, too many to explore even on a three day weekend! Hence we have rebooked as many other reviewers do.
the peace and tranquility is amazing and we didnt see another person on any of our walks, plenty of wildlife deer, hares, rabbits and swans on the two nearby reservoirs. Site is accessed easy even for twin axles and the road down to the farm is well maintained.
The toilet and hand washing facilities are really good with some information in the shed as well as a a visitor guest book to leave their thoughts - really good reviews in their as their is on this site as well.
If you want peace tranquility and very nice owners then this site is for you, there is the option of hard standing if there has been rain or the grass meadow which as you can see by the site picture easily fits the 5 maximum units on. Not like some where you end up looking into someones front lounge as the spaces are too close !
Cannot recommend this site enough if you want peace tranquility and to relax and to unwind with just the sounds of nature as Company.
If Calsberg owned Caravan Sites this may probably be the "best site in Lincolnshire at least!
we encourage you to try out Barff Farm, you wont be disappointed - very dog friendly and numerous walks from the site - and some amazing sunsets!
We look forward to returning, and have already booked one return, with more planned. Keep up the good work Michelle and Gary - you have a vey impressive CL site definitely one to be proud of.
