could not wish for anything better

my wife and i have stayed here many times at various times of the year and it has got to be like going home. If you want a stress free time it is perfect. The pitches are as good as anywhere on the network and have great vistas.Mike & Denise the farmer & his wife are the most helpful owners you could wish for. Roll on the next time we visit. Hope there is room.

Stunning views and scenery

We have stayed on this site many times, usually with our daughter in her caravan. it is mostly quiet with just the odd Bhah from the sheep. But we are aware that it is a working farm and we expect to hear the animals. Mr and Mrs Hill are very accommodating and friendly and the site is clean and well kept. Very close to Northallerton with its great Saturday Market. A car is needed to get to Northallerton or any of the nearby towns but then if you have a caravan you have a car. We go with our motorhome and tow a small car. Generous sized site with electric hook ups. Water and sewerage and waste water all well presented. Would highly recommend. As another couple from the south of England said to us recently "a Jewel in the crown". I would agree.

Peace and Quiet

We stayed here in our motorhome 27th and 28th September 2012. An open site on a hill, near the farm. Good site for star gazing, and we saw the meteorites which were seen all over the country that night. Footpaths are accessible from the site, but transport would be needed to access local amenities.
