Dear caravan club member. We note your comments about our cl site at Rutland Water. It is not our policy to be abrupt to visitors on arrival.Quite the opposite in fact.! This was a very challenging season for our site. Vast amounts of snow followed by torrential rain, then a prolonged drought made it extremely hard with the grass to keep it nice as it usually is. As for the issue of the drinking water/ elsan taps, there IS a separate tap for drinking water ONLY , clearly marked and signed on the site. The small tent site nearby is NOT run by us. Any concerns you had could have been addressed if you had come to see us during your stay. 

It proves it pays to talk. 

Good to hear the other side of the story.
