Lovely place for an overnight stay

Excellent communication, warm welcome and beautiful setting. Good facilities in keeping with the ethos of the site. Amazing to be so close to the animals. We will definitely return.

Perfect site.

I almost don’t want to say how great this place is as I want to keep it a secret! Beautiful and peaceful site with stunning views. There are only a handful of pitches which we loved, large in size with electric hook up and wifi. We loved being able to look out at the alpacas and horses. Toilets are immaculate and there’s easy access to water, chemical disposal, and grey waste disposal. Lovely walks from the site and a lovely little shop with coffee, crafts and sweet treats. We can’t wait to come back. The access road is narrow but it’s not far along it to the access to the site and there are passing places. This said, we didn’t encounter another vehicle in our camper so wasn’t an issue.

Covers All Bases

This is a lovely site where James and Jo Dell are running an Eco Farm which certainly has our vote of approval. It was peaceful, in a lovely location for walks and bike rides and had lots of animals enjoying plenty of tlc. The local information was first class and covered everything and more than we could need. The hosts were really friendly and had time for a chat and showed a real desire to ensure we had a great stay. Which we certainly did.

Lovely views from site

Just spent 5 sunny days at Aston Abbots. Nice site situated away from main road traffic. Spacious plots with electric and really good wi fi. Two very clean toilets and loads of alpacas to keep you entertained. The owners have put a lot of work making this site ( and surrounding farm ) into a very eco friendly set up and all credit to the way it has turned out. The site is behind electric gates and you just ‘ feel safe ‘ I cycled from the site along quit roads into Aylesbury via the Grand Union Canal and Leighton Buzzard is also within easy reach. National Trust properties are also nearby. No dogs because of the animals.Hopefully it won’t get used, but even a defibrillator on site and trained first aiders on site with the farm. Many thanks to James and Jo for creating this little gem.

Peaceful holiday

Easy, accessible site, info waiting for us in the mail box upon arrival. Secure site with electronic gates and key fob, lovely to have a good information pack with what's on the local area. Lovely to have toilets on site which were nice and clean, although for the farm as well, we never had any problem in accessing them. The stars of the week were the Alpacas, although having been shorn, their lovey hairstyle made our day. Wonderful to see them stroll past our caravan in the evening. Access to local places of interest and eateries was easy, and the highlight of our trip was Bletchley Park, with Waddesdon Manor a close second. Thank you James and Jo for a delightful stay.

Super short stay

Great to find a CL with toilets to use, even though they are shared with the farm it was never a problem, nice and clean. The alpacas were the real stars of the show and even though it hardly stopped raining they provided constant entertainment. I would come back just to see them. The pitches were the biggest I think we have ever stayed on just wish we could have enjoyed them properly.

Wonderful Stay

Just back from a 3 night stay at this wonderful CL. Nicely spaced level grass pitches. Great communication from James before we arrived with lots of information of the local area. Wi-Fi worked well and TV reception was very good. We walked from the site on footpaths over fields to the neighbouring villages. The highlight of our stay though was watching the alpacas from our pitch which was a delight. Two toilets are provided on site which were very clean. Would certainly recommend. Thank you James for being a great host. Look forward to visiting again.

Wonderful stay

We have recently returned from a six night stay at this lovely CL. It was our first visit and we could immediately see why it was voted CL of the year 2023. The site is immaculate with wonderful views of the alpacas. Pitches are spacious and well set out. We were given a very warm welcome by the owners Jo and James and provided with an excellent information sheet regarding the site and the surrounding areas. There are several National Trust properties within easy reach in addition to other local places of interest, pubs and restaurants. WFi was excellent and we had a thoroughly enjoyable and peaceful stay. We hope to return. Would highly recommend.

Another lovely short break.

James and Jo as welcoming as always. A fabulous CL, quiet and in a lovely area of the country. The addition of Wi-Fi is also really useful. I’m sure that we’ll be back again before too long.
