We have stayed at Abbey View before and have just spent 10 days enjoying the peaceful and well maintained site and fabulous weather. The owner takes pride in her CL and makes you feel very welcome. Nothing is too much trouble and we want to say thank you to Loraine who came to our aid when our car broke down and we over stayed our visit; we felt we had to mention this because of the previous review which mentioned 6 vans and breaking club rules. I hold my hands up and admit it was more than likely me because of the problem with my car. I think that rules are there for a good reason and should not be broken but surely when unexpected circumstances arise then an act of kindness and discretion on both sides is appreciated.
