Fabulous!

We stayed here for 7 nights and what a beautifully maintained site with amazing views over the coast.  It is a perfect location to explore the Antrim Coast with the Giants Causeway, Ballintoy Harbour and Londonderry not far away at all and a must.  There is so much to do from this site 7 days wasn't quite enough for us. You can walk from the site down the hill to the 6 mile beach, which our dog really enjoyed.  Highly recommended!

A site in paradise

This was an excellent choice in our range of sites on a four week visit to Ireland.  Hazel Andrews made us very welcome on arrival and supplied us with information about the local area.  Her local knowledge and enthusiasm for the area is unbridled.  The site is very well managed, extremely clean and tidy.  The pitches are well set out with plenty of space for caravan, car and awning.  The site is quiet except for the odd "boy-racer". Who sees the run up the hill as a challenge.  The views are breath-taking and the sunsets are unbelievable.  We will certainly be recommending this CL to others.  Well done, Hazel, your site is a little bit of paradise.  We certainly hope to be back.

7 days in Heaven

We stayed for 7 nights in mid September and had a wonderful time on the Causeway Coast with so many historic and scenic places to visit and great seaside golf courses within an easy drive from Bishops Road CL. We followed the directions from Castlerock Garden Centre and easily found the site, definitely recommend NOT using the Bishops Road route from Downhill with a caravan, too steep and sharp bends to negotiate. The CL has wonderful views towards Portstewart Strand across Downhill Demesne ruins from all the pitches each of which have thoughtfully been provided with level concrete pads, 3 for the full length of the caravan/motorhome and 3 for the caravan wheels with levelling blocks available if needed. Access and exit are by separate wide gates and provided no problem for our fairly large outfit, a Bailey Unicorn Valencia and Kia Sorento. Mrs Andrews gave us a very warm welcome and provided excellent suggestions as to places to eat. The Point at McGillicans point and 55 North in Portrush were both great and we returned to The Point with friends from Ballygowan for a lovely sunday lunch. Mr & Mrs Andrews went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and we couldn't recommend a stay on their lovely CL more highly, being only an easy 1.5 hours drive from Belfast docks we'll definitely be staying again to explore more of the places Northern Ireland's Causeway Coast has to offer.

One of the only places on earth where you look north and see the south!

A lovely peaceful spot, Mrs Andrews is very hospitable and the views are stunning (Northern Ireland weather permitting). A well groomed and run site and you don't have to travel far to experience the some of the best sites in NI.  Cracking extensive blue flag beach at the bottom of a very steep hill, Mussenden Temple NT site just a mile or two away. Decent restaurants close by, busy shopping towns of Limavady or Coleraine only a short distance away. Fantastic viewing point just a short walk up hill from the site where you can see Scotland, Eire and the Magilligan peninsula - what more could a caravanner ask for. Not really a site for families.  I'll be back. Read the access directions in the handbook - a must!

A little bit of heaven

You will receive a very welcome from the Andrews. This is a wonderful site. Peaceful with stunning scenic views. Convenient for many of N. Ireland's top tourist attractions e.g. Giant's Causeway, Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge, Bushmills Distillery and some National Trust properties. Once having been here, you will want to come back again.

Greeted with a warm welcome

A warm welcome with great suggestions as to what to do, distance views that must be hard to be surpassed, siting made really easy with either level full concrete slabs or wheel strips (and a supply of levelling blocks if needed), grooves in the concrete drive to lay your cable in. Yes a sloping site but access from the top and exit from the bottom makes it easy. easy train journey to Derry Londonderry As regular CL users this rates as one of the best we have been to. Do not try to tow up or down Bishops Road from Downhill - my Snooper Sat Nav set with caravan sizes tried to send me thaty way!!

Stunning.

A lovely site with stunning panoramic sea views from each pitch. Very well designed facilities which allow you to drive on and off pitches without reversing etc., very spacious and Mrs Andrews could not have been more welcoming.
