What a wonderful site.

What a wonderful site. Peace and quiet in wonderful surroundings. We booked 3 nights and stayed 5. James and Sarah could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The bus into Norwich was easy, but do check the timetable. A most enjoyable stay.

Lovely, private site.

We had a wonderful stay here. Planned to stay for 3 nights but sadly had to leave a night early due to a problem with our van. Didn't want to go though. Nice level field with pretty surroundings of trees and woodland. Owls in the evening. Had a fabulous day and evening with friends and the BBQ. Very nice (not cheap but to be expected) meal at the Water's Edge nearby, lovely riverside spot. Previous mentions of the narrow and tight entrance. It is narrow and tight but we got in and out with our 8m motorhome complete with tow car attached, so don't let that bother you because it is something that can be done with a little care. We would return yes. Nice CL.

Just Fantastic

What a great site this is. Field is almost level, and it is so peaceful and relaxing. Plenty of wildlife seem to visit site including Egyptian Geese and Deer. The new owners are really helpful and enthusiastic about the CL, which is great. The site is on the edge of the Broads, and is great for cycling and walking. I would heartily recommend this site to anyone

Welcoming and Peaceful

Just arrived home after a lovely much needed 4 night break at 3 Grange Farm Barns. The entrance is a little tricky but we managed fine with our large outfit. Beautiful buildings and grounds, all very well kept and maintained. Some of the site is a little uneven but there is enough room to pitch up avoiding those areas. On arrival we were given a very friendly welcome by Sue, who gave us a sheet containing some local information and an invitation to help ourselves to apples from the orchard. The site is mainly grass with one hard standing and is a lovely secluded area. There are various trees around the field along with a wooded area. The site is very peaceful with no light pollution at night We found the location perfect for visiting the area and although we didn’t use the bus, it would be very handy If you want to pop into Norwich. We ate out each day, our anniversary meal was at The Waters Edge and was great. Perfect location on the river, friendly staff and the food was delicious. The New Inn was ok for lunch and Coldham Hall was fab. Sitting alongside the river in the sunshine eating delicious food, what more could you want. We would definitely use this lovely site again when visiting the area.

Excellent site. Easy access from the A47. Entrance through gateway tight but manageable. Large grassed area with many trees. Friendly helpful welcome. Most days did not use the car as the bus service was so good - 10 minutes to Norwich bus station and then on to all parts of Norfolk from there. Would be better if the electricity points were not all close together on one side, as much of the field was unused with the vans rather quashed together.

A lovely site

This was our second stay on this site. It is level and peaceful. Very easy to get into Norwich as the local bus stops at the end of the drive and is a frequent and reliable service. The local pub/restaurant which is around 30 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive from the site is the Waters Edge. As the name suggests it is overlooking the river and the food is delicious and the service excellent. The site is only a short drive from the A47 which makes access to the Broads or various places of interest very easy. Happy to return anytime.

Hidaway

Excellent site, very well kept, grass nice and short, ground a little uneven but not a problem. Owners very friendly and helpful, gave us a load of apples from their trees and also informed us of the bus time into Norwich. We stayed for 7 nights. Would recommend this site to anyone. Be careful going in and out with the van on tha back as it is a little tight in places. A very good site to stay at with friendly owners all to willing to help
