A nice secluded site.

We stayed for one night only at this site at the end of april 2014. It's a lovely secluded site despite the nearness of both airport and railway. Neither of these intruded and on the morning of our stay, as we sat eating our breakfast we were treated to the sight of two deer which sailed gracefully over the perimeter fence and trotted gracefully around the front of our van and down the lane. A little moment of heavenly peace.          This site is level with plenty of space and there is access to all services such as shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. A very good site for visiting Oxford, which is what we did, and Blenheim is just round the corner. We shall be returning for a longer stay in the near future to explore the area further. The right hand turn into the access lane as you enter the site is a little tight but easily manageable with care. A basic site but EHU's well spaced and chemical disposal easy to get to and out of the way through a small gate. Bring your own filler pipe for the drinking water tap as there isn't one provided. Otherwise just enjoy the stay with friendly, helpful owners and plenty to do. We did.

A nice little CL

This is a nice little CL. Despite what the description says there is not 3 acres available for caravans, but there is plenty of room and it is not crowded. It is now £11 per night. The hook up points are along one side of a field by an orchard leaving plenty of space around each van. It is a bit noisy at times from the nearby railway and airport but we didn't find it intrusive. It is a good site for staying on whilst visiting Oxford and Blenheim - it's very close to both. There is a bus service into Oxford from the end of the lane and the Park & Ride is also quite close. Also there is easy access to the Oxford canal and local walking. There is a Co-op mini market and newsagent at the end of the lane. Owners are a nice helpful friendly couple. We were there for a week at the beginning of April. Ground is nicely firm but not hard and the grass had just been cut when we arrived and was cut again the day before we left. All in all a nicely maintained little CL.

Lane end cl

We stayed in this site in october 2013( marathon weekend). It rained from we arrived on the friday to monday but the ground never got soft. We could drive and walk on it without a problem. The site is basic but ideal for getting to oxford with a bus stop at the end of the road use the bus as oxford is a nightmare for parking. The owners are a nice couple who are very helpful.
