I am taking my outfit to Yate near Bristol on Friday for 2 nights. I am taking part in an organised Olympic head to head archery shoot over two days. Trying to use less fuel and be cost effective I want to leave my van somewhere near to yate as I am carrying on to Weymouth on Wednesday but I have to return to Tamworth on Sunday evening after the shoot. I cannot leave my caravan on a local CL because of the rules, in so much as I will not be with it for 3 days. I have tried the local sites to no avail, every reason they give why i cant leave it there. It is not the cost that bothers me but the fact that I am being given no option other than to drag my unit back up three motorways on Sunday only to drag it back the same way 3 days later. This is not the way to try and save the last of our planets resources. A disgruntled caravanner. Simon.
