Thinking of getting a Kindle?

I've had a Kindle for a number of years and very good they are to, in terms of replicating the experience of reading a paperback book.  However my Kindle died a death during the summer.  I nearly replaced it with a new paper white one but didn't quite get round to it mainly because I was borrowing someone elses paperwhite.

This week though I say a post on MSE for the Nook simple touch Glow light and what caught my eye was the price £49 less than half the price of a Kindle.  Asda had them on display but not in stock but looked fine so I have bought one online from John Lewis delivery is £3.50 except it is free if you spend £50 so I added a £1 wooden spoon (I thought it might come in useful on here Smile ) so delivered free.

Side by side with the paperwhite the screen quality appears to be identical no speakers or headphonejack it doesn't have 3g just wifi, JL give a 2year gaurantee.  But best of all the format of the books epub I borrow from the libarary you can't do this with the kindle format at least not in Wales so all in all I am quite pleased with it.
