Ovivo - All good things / Too good to be true

Just in case anyone did sign up for an Ovivo SIM card when I mentioned it a year or so ago, and are wondering what's up with their phones - the company went bust last night.

Bit of a pain, as they gave no notice, but I suppose that's what happens when you have a very small company doing something a little out of the ordinary (it was a 100% free service - calls/texts & internet for absolutely nothing per month).

I'm looking for new deals for my wife & mother now, who'd been happily using the service for the last 12-18months.  Funnily enough, I was only 4 months from ending my contract and getting one myself.

Three's 1-2-3 PAYS looks pretty good for light users

Tesco's £7.50 Sim only deal also looks decent.

But neither are free - damn!

If you're looking for free - sadly only for Data - then take a look at Samba Mobile.

Watch ads (on any device, as long as you're logged in) and build up free Data allowence.

I've got 500Mb stored on a SIM card that Im keeping just in case I'm in a location with bad signal, as its on 3, and that gives an extra chance.
