Not sure if this has been covered before. Some of you know i'm a bit of a car nut aswell. One of the things i'm a sod for is LED's! I'm not the boy racer type with LED's stuck to everything and anything lighthing up the front of my car like blackpool lights!

I replace standard bulbs with LED replacements, with my cars being of the older type some of them could use the help and the upgrade, specially when it comes to stop/tail lights compared to modern cars.

Today i replaced the two spotlights/reading lights in the front corners of my caravan above the seating area from old bulbs to LED's! The light is much better and the power used is next to nothing when compared to the old bulbs. A side effect would be much reduced heat entering the cupards above.

I'm going to order replacements for the awning lights when im back off holiday and look if they do replacements for the old gas-style electric lamps we have (It's a 1998 van, you know, the old glass things).

Not a short term money saving tip as the initial outlay of the bulbs. BUT, i would hope this would give us several hours, maybe even days longer when having no mains, only battery. Even when on mains, reduce our leccy usage!
