A couple of years ago I bought some Hillmaster boots which I had found £25 cheaper on the net. I took a screen shot  to the store and they honoured their promise, saving me nearly £30. You need some sort of proof of the cheaper price such as saving the webpage on your phone or a photo of the cheaper price. 

There is the added advantage of being able to return faulty goods to the store rather than messing about with return labels.
