Hmmm.......depends on which branch you use. I’ve given up. I presented my card from the other club and was refused a discount both times. They told me I also had to purchase their own discount card.
I had great satisfaction in leaving a total of £135.00 worth of items at the checkout. Seems some staff require a little retraning.

I have always thought that Go Outdoors is just not good value without their discount card as a starting point? Unless they were reduced items I would have thought you would have saved far more than the payment of £5 for their card plus of course further discounts by using various club membership cards? I must admit I resisted having one of their cards for some time until I realised it was me losing out if I wanted to shop there!

Don't often use Go Outdoors, but used to be a 'member'. Do they still have a 'beat any price' offer? We got our first Cadac that way. I showed them the cheapest online price I could find and they beat it (It might have been 10%??). I would also have had to pay postage on the online price. It was worthwhile playing the £5.

I believe that if you read my post again you will discover that I had a card from the other club. The counter staff wouldn’t accept it UNLESS I also purchased their own card at £5.00. Ts and Cs of the Camping and Caravan Club card stated the discount was unconditional.
I later purchased the items via Amazon at a saving of £21.00 on the £135.00. Seems GO prices are not that keen after all!

I understood perfectly what you said. However I think you need to read the terms and conditions for getting the extra Club discount. From the C&CC website:-
"Terms and Conditions:
*A GO Outdoors Discount Card is required. Discount Cards are available in store and online for just £5 per year. Not to be used in conjunction with Price Guarantee, SALE, Clearance, WOW Deals, multibuys, bundles, or any other offer. Does not include Gift Vouchers, Discount Card purchases or gas hire charges. UK customers only. Subject to availability."
