Go off-peak!

Fairly obvious, but if you are retired or have flexible working arrangements and no children/grandchildren to consider, it is cheaper to stay at CC sites and other sites on 'off-peak' days (see booking part of website for pricing), and the sites are less crowded, facilities less stretched, likelihood of annoyances (as listed in pet hates thread!) is less. As I am still working, I reluctantly caravan over Bank Holidays, but once retired will not want to do so.
