Awning connecting to the caravan

good afternoon, i have  just purchased a dorema challenger 2 awning, now the guy i bought it off said he didnt have the connector from the caravan to the awning, but if i go online i can get one..now im not really digitally enhanced as im more into liking the freshair..can anyone shed any light into what i need or any advice or any links please..with thanks..smithy :)
