Autogas, a concern?

We swapped to an on board autogas tank a while ago hoping to save time and money in the long run but we are noticing that many garages are having the refill facilities removed from their forecourts. It is now being suggested by several other owners that this is a growing trend and it is becoming a problem as they are finding it increasingly harder to locate providers whilst out and about on their tours. Have I made a mistake?

Maybe I'm just thumbs, Justus2. It was the second type that I was struggling with although from the YouTube video, I'm not entirely sure why I ended up fiddling for so long. The other type is a doddle. Must just be my age.

I searched youtube before I needed to fill for the first time so I had some idea. Strange that you found the second type confusing, I find that type far easier, but then I used that one type about three times before coming across the other which threw me at first. In reality it isn't any more difficult than a bayonet cap light bulb really, its all about lining things up first.

For anyone considering converting a vehicle to dual fuel, I came across this while looking at other LPG things. Paragraph two is interesting regarding fuel duty, if we can trust our governments!

Interesting TTDA. I notice there is no mention of what [Deleted User User] was alluding to. Andys Gas in Bristol offer a 10p reduction per litre as the gas for Safefill and similar is for domestic use. Are outlets charging us Auto prices? If one outlet can and does do it why are we not offered that at all outlets? Could not the club advise on this??
