They might be bargains but a word or warning, go to a shop to buy the items do not order on line if you want them. Ordered a step, pegs, cleaner plus other bits and bobs on the 30th of March due to be sent out on the 2nd of April. Aldi do not dispatch on a Sunday and to date most of the items have still not left them(4th) they advertise a five working day delivery time. Our order has been split into three parcels to be delivered by two different couriers, the first Hermes one has just arrived the second with Hermes and third with Yodel haven't left Aldi yet! Each of which will contain just one item. Glad the postage and packing is free!

We bought the low watt kettle for 9.99 today. It holds 1.7 litres and connects to the mains by the base docking port that modern kettles seem to have so no trailing leads.
It is a slow boiler and took 10 mins 40 secs to boil its full 1.7 litre capacity. But its well worth the money to me & will be great when we're on low amp sites in France later this summer.

700ml (or thereabouts) does for two large mugs of tea/coffee with the addition of milk.
our 900w travel kettle boils this amount in about 40% of that time (40% of the max vol).
we have a new Aldi close to us and the stuff looked pretty good, but we already had it all....

a tiny dish will easily find Astra 2 almost anywhere in France/Spain, however as David says, you wont be picking up BBC/ITV etc much into France.
if you are a Sky subscriber, all the Movies and Sports will be available as they are broadcast on the Pan European beam of Astra 2, so take your box/card with you.
