Wheel bends out on reverse

Hi all,

I don't know which section to post this but as I am new to Caravaning then maybe this is the best place to leave my post.

A strange thing happened with the twin axel when reversing into storage today. Reversed between two vans and when the van was on a pretty extreme angle where the front of the van was nearly touching the back of the car then the furthest near side wheel bend out a couple of inches. I unhooked and straightened up with the motor mover. Then the said wheel lined up to normal. Only had the twin axel a couple of months.

When you say 'wheel' do you mean 'tyre'? If tyre that happens to mine.

This characteristic threw me when I got my first twin axle. I was used to a single axle turning in its own length, but twin axle motor movers, if on all four wheels, are unable to run the wheels in different directions so you will get what you describe.

Apologies if this has already all been said. CT is showing that 9 people have replied but I can't see any of the replies on either entry of this thread! Another CT bug/glitch!
