Hi, wondering if anyone can assist.

I recently bought the above awning second hand and I'm wondering if the inner ceiling tubes are absolutely essential or is it okay erected without them?

The awning came without the inner ceiling support tubes.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I have a Vango air awning and would say that the inner tubes are essential if you wish to have a safe and secure awning.

Without them the structural integrity of the awning would be severly weakened, especially in a storm.

Vango have been very responsive to my requests for spares and will no doubt be able to help you source some new beams.

I have 2016 Vango Varkala, which I think is very similar.

I agree with Simon. If you mean the straight horizontal beams that run parallel to the caravan and that fit between the uprights, then they are essential.

Thanks for the replies.

Could you tell me how many I need and the length of them please.

I think that my Varkala 420 had 6 in total, 2 in each bay.

Google your awning and there is a lot of information on line including pictures of the awning inside and out.
