Tourer, Motorhome or Static ?

With potential retirement or at least semi retirement looming I had the thought of going down the static route but seems to me that its got a lot against it. Fixed position , seemingly locked in a no win 15 year downward spiral on costs to the site owner , etc . So thought motorhome, but couldnt bear to be packing up every day at the site just to pop out for a pint of milk. So left with a tourer. Not too keen on towing but maybe do one tow and get a seasonal pitch . Or get it towed ? And presumably after a few years I could sell the van and recoup some cash as oppossed to the static .

So in making my decision I thought I should maybe have a bit more insight from the members on this forum .

Is towing a real challenge ?

What are your thoughts on getting the van towed  by a company to a different site maybe every 3 or 4 years ?

What is the average depreciation of a tourer , roughly ?

Phew........ hope you can give me , a newbie , a bit of help
