Too much choice!!

Hi

We have decided to take the plunge and buy a used motorhome for touring and occasional short trips next year. Our dilemma is what type to look for. Can you make any suggestions?

Normally there will just be the two of us using the motorhome but we want the option to take our 2 small grandchildren with us (aged 8 and 5). We want to have the flexibility of taking the children without compromising on the sort of van we would have it it was just the 2 of us.

Things we've decided we need are:

4 berths

4 belted seats

fixed bed (double or two singles), ideally transverse or a bed that lowers from the ceiling

shower / loo

kitchen

Max length 6M

If it was just the 2 of us we might go for an Adria Twin but not practical for 4 of us. I also like the look of the Chausson Flash 4 which has a lowering bed.

Any other suggestions? We are thinking max 10 years old, up to £35K.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thankyou Kay and Keith

With a definitive list of needs such as you have I would suggest a trip to your local M/H sales plot and discuss with them what options are available.

If not happy with their suggestions check out the next nearest one.

Good luck with your search.
