Sat nav

Hello as a new member and new to motorhome and camping ,i wonder if any members could give me some advice , i get to pick up my new motorhome in january feeling a little bit nervous and excited, ive started to pick out various camp sites and noted a lot of sites say ignore sat nav 

i was think of buying from the club shop  a sat nav , Avtex tourer two would this give me the correct information or do i ignore
