Does anyone know if you can easily remove a Truma chimney and a circular TV arial from a caravan roof in order to allow a caravan cover to fit properly over the van ?

To prevent the cover rubbing on the chimney I cover the chimney with the bottom half of a plastic milk "bottle" (2 pint size I think).

As regards the circular tv aerial does it have a spike on top? If so cannot this be unscrewed?

what's that got to do with anything?

i wouldn't put a breathable (or otherwise) cover in a MH either...

we here many stories about mould in caravans, probably manifest during periods of downtime, adding a cover (of any sort) during such a period is, IMV, more likely to exacerbate this type of situation than prevent it.

...and if it's not used for 'periods of downtime' why bother with the hassle anyway?

You don't have to convince me as I wouldn’t use one either.

Btw, it’s called humour.😜
