I’ve purchased a starter caravan 1992 Abi Jubilee Rallyman from a neighbour as they have retired due to ill health, its in good condition inside and out but not without its problems as its not turned a wheel in 8 yrs. I’m only using it for a few days periodically for classic motorcycle shows so no hook-up.

I’ve replaced the tyres, Battery, Gas feed pipe, old crystal water system to truma powerflo, both sky lights, checked all the water taps, gas heater, hob and fridge on gas, lights inside and out and all appears to be working as they should.

A very competent mechanic and Ex caravaner  is going to do a service i.e. brakes and lube etc. for me.

I am in the building industry and a bit of a spanner monkey so not fazed by a bit of fettling, the carver water heater has been disabled due to water leak.

would I still need to get the gas and electrics checked by an expert, and is there anything else I would need to check out.
