We are caravanners of 40 years but due to health problems we are unable to tow our caravan

We would like still like to holiday with our son & daughter in law who would use their caravan but we would need either a holiday let or b&b

Can anyone suggest anywhere suitable that they may know of

Many thanks Jane

Hi Jane.

Sorry to read of your plight.

You don't say what area you are thinking of.  Perhaps, if you could narrow it down, our members might be able to come up with some suggestions to help you.

Also, not wanting to teach grannie to suck eggs, but your son and daughter-in-law will need to be C&MH Club members to use a CL with their own caravan.

What about one of the sites with pods?  There seems to be more and more of those

I think a few CLs have accommodation as well, self catering or b&b might be worth searching in the area you are interested in

If we knew what area or a radius from a base I have no doubt some suggestions might be forthcoming

Come to Cornwall !

If you will consider bigger sites then one option for you would be Willow Valley at Bude which offers camping + caravanning + lodges + farmhouse + glamping. Something for everyone.

Good luck with your search.

Try Vose Farm, a Cornish CL with a range of holiday accommodation in spacious surroundings. See HERE They have a web site LINK for the accommodation on the details page. We've stayed there, it's not far from the coast at Caerhays Castle (nice beach, lovely gardens.) Also Mevagissey, Heligan etc plenty to do and see especially further down on the Roseland.

West View South Cockrington, near Louth used to have a holiday cottage. Handy for the East coast.

If you could let us know where you might be interested in visiting, then I can think of a lot of CLs with alternative accommodation. We are actually on one in North Yorkshire at this very moment, near Skipton. Suggest an area you are interested in, and you will get more of a response I think.😀

And I'll be able to add others too. All we need to know is which areas of the country you wish to visit.
