Hindsight - What do you wish you had known?

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. If only we had it before we did something!
I'm interested to know what you wish you had known before you bought your van.
We as a Club can help with questions, and the community is a fabulous source of information - but as a newbie you need to know a little in order to ask the questions  - So I'd like to hear all the ' I wish I had known...' 'If only I'd realised...'
