Presumably you are thinking of going 'off grid' and not using sites with electrical hook ups (EHU.)
Fine, but do be aware that even the quietest genny makes a noise and there is a possibility of annoying any neighbour camping next door to you. So do not use on a campsite, alongside others, if possible.

Posted on 15/03/2021 14:50 by TinwheelerI would advise against. They are noisy and many sites will not allow them. Why do you think you'll need a gennie? Far better to explore the solar route.
Btw, you can select a user name of your voice in My Profile.👍🏻

Here's the club's advice on gennies -

Note - the use of generators on club sites is prohibited between 6pm and 9am.

There is not much you cannot do with solar panels, good battery/ies and an inverter. I have a 1 Kva generator, it has been sitting in my garage for the best part of 10 years. the only reason I keep it is for occasion use to power tools and as a back up for electricity failures so far not encountered.
My motorhome is equipped with s solar panel, an 180APH AGM battery and a 750w inverter. This meets all my needs including charging bike batteries or running a slow cooker.
I would think seriously about whether you really need a generator or not.
