So we have had our pile of faults that some would call   caravan nearly a year  now, so time for the service.

Can someone advise what is checked in the service  what can make it fail and what happens should she fails?

We have had so many faults and issues with her during this first year, we are worried sick she will fail and we get a huge bill we cant afford and arent able to use our van until we do.

Plus we are still waiting on our car insurance to give us the all clear to get some  minor damaged repaired to outside of the van after a car drove dow the side of her while we were stationary and towing her would this affect the service?

Not sure what you're worrying about but a service is just about checking and adjusting things like brakes gas and electrics and not an MOT so you don't fail anything. If it's only a year old there shouldn't be to much wrong so should only cost something like £180 - £200.If I remember rightly it's an Elldis Xplore and it's not unusual to have faults with them. Our Xplore service cost £202 and the only problem was some damp where the pump leaked and that was sorted under warranty.

You should not need to worry about the service it is normally about £200 pounds and if there are any faults found they should be covered by the warranty,as caravan "service" is basically a check that things work, and a check of the running gear, brakes cleaned and adjusted,
