External aerial connection

Hello all.

This is my first post on here and I am a complete newbe when it comes to caravanning.

I've heard that I can use an external aerial instead of the status aerial on the caravan. My question is, should I have an external aerial connector which connects to the aerial points within the caravan? I have a 2007 Elddis superstorm. It came with a long coax lead but I can't seem to find where it plugs in. Can anyone give me any pointers? I assume I don't feed it in through the window and plug into the back of the TV?

Thanks for any help!
