As some of you will have seen from my other posts we are moving from a Motorhome to a Caravan and the first thing we will do even before collecting the caravan will be to attend a course.

We are members of both CC and C&CC both of which offer courses.

When we contacted C&CC they could not be more friendly explained that there were 2 of us and that we would like to attend the course.  They said no problem you work as a team on the courses, one does the waving about whilst the other does the maneouvering and you swap over.  They recommended couples attending the course together.

When we contacted the CC at the Manchester show, we were told couples are not encouraged and that if you did turn up as a couple you would be split up into different groups and would each require to bring a tow car with you.

My wife and I work better as a team and we do not have 2 tow cars lying around (in fact I am having to order a tow car anyways).    Has any one any experience of CC courses as a couple are they as regimented as the CC official at the show let on?  How does it work in reality when you want to attend as a couple.

Has any one any opinions on which course is better for a couple the CC one or the C&CC one?

We are complete caravan/towcar newbies and wish to make ourselves as prepared as possible.
