I know its a bit early to ask, but we are booked into Bridlington starting on xmas day. Being relatively new to the sport, we were not sure what the procedure will be with ariving on xmas day itself, we certainly don't anticipate wardens working on that day. Has anyone else any experience of xmas day arrival? The app took the booking so we assumed it will be acceptable to arrive then?

lucky to have xmas day off when wirkin in ,leiure industry ,
as for tesco being open on christmeas day , its not for the want of trying but luckily the govt wont let them ! easter sunday too is also on their agenda ,isuppose if you are a warden on a site open over the winter you expect to be on site on xmas day ,otherwise you would be wardening in one thats only open 9/10 months of year :) cheers mrs bc merry christmas henzy have a lovely time i booked for chatsworth for christmas week but had to cancel as still workin :(

Hi black caviar, I always feel for people working on christmas day, work in the nhs myself so know what its like, taking advantage of a rare chance to escape this xmas, but doubt it will be a regular thing until retirement beckons. Best wishes to you and yours

I wasn't trying to be funny but it is the only day of the year the Wardens get off and people still want to arrive. Yes the wardens wont be working but will still be on site but who do you expect to lift the barrier so you can get on site then??? and i was being constructive when i said Boxing day
The very same person who does it whether people arrive or not. Do you think we're all locked in on Xmas day??

My only worry is how our customers are going to cope with their Christmas celebrations when there are no fast food deliveries over Christmas Eve?
I agree they wont be able to have their favourite curry or chinese
go to the corner shop which is still open on xmas day.
i used to be a manager in a supermarket many years ago and the amount of times we got abuse.... Yes abuse by people trying to get into the shop back then at. Gone 5pm because the didnt have a turkey or other xmas stuff was astounding. The same probably applies now at 8pm on xmas eve im sure,
with people demanding that the supermarket be open on xmas day because they may want something.... well tuff I say if you havent got what you need for one day as most are open on boxing day now.
I Want it and want it now comes to mind stamping feet, sad people.
Then you get people complaining that the xmas lunch is costing alot of money, dam right it is, some poor sod has had to work to serve you.
Thats my blood pressure up for the day, rant over

Personally I keep well away from supermarkets in the days leading up to christmas. I have no desire to fight for sprouts or double cream. If we dont have it by then we will go without. Lets face it most of us have freezers crammed with stuff anyway and
its one day after all. I recall the days of childhood when it seemed that shops were shut for days on end, and guess what we all survived

MM, you should advise them to order their pizzas the day before and put them in the freezer for the next day.You'll get double deliverys to do on X-Mas Eve, and perhaps double tips.
