Hiya Just bought a caravan yesterday(Didn't intend to...just looking). We live in Beckenham Kent. We want to put it on a nice  site with water and electricity for a year or so. Would be mainly for storage purposes but would like to use on occasional weekends over the Summer. Thinking of the Chichester or Kent  areas.

New to caravanning..just got caravan and plastic cups !.

Can anyone help please.

Thank you ...Martin

Hi Martin, I'm a long way from your area so can't help with site suggestions but what your looking for is a seasonal pitch. Some Caravan Club sites offer this but not all. So I think a  little internet research is required followed by some ringing around. IIt's not cheap though and you might want to get your moneys worth by using your caravan alot more than on occasional weekends. Good luck in your search, happy caravanning.

If you bought a tourer then they are designed to be moved around. Don't be afraid if towing the thing. Just take some trianing & go and explore. Really towing isn't difficult and the more you practice the easier it gets! Just stay close to home for the first trip unless you forget something!
