i was trying to book several sites before 7th but being new to the club didnt realise i had to wait so wait i did.coming home after work on the 7th i logged on to find all the sites i wanted had been booked up.seems to be unfair to workers this system.unless your at home all day you dont stand a chance of booking bank hols.

Were you just after prime weekends? There cannot be many sites that fill that quickly at prime times. Which sites?

It is not a problem to me but I wish start if bookings were 6 am on a Sunday to give more folk the oportunity to set their alarms and book. Yes some will always be disadvantaged of course.

You did mention "several" sites in you op?  I think Hawes is being upgraded this year so may have restricted pitches and Bridlington as a lot of sites are very popular at Bank holidays,do not give up and give the wardens a ring as if the sites have grass pitches they may not be released until later in case they are too wet at that time of year

Indeed one half of the Hawes site is closed then - not sure how many  pitches are avalable as a result

Lower Wensleydale site at Leyburn is nice and has availability for Easter Bank holiday on both awning and non awning. Availability for the early May BH on non awning and Spring bank on both.

River Breamish, also a very nice site and not to far from anywhere in North Yorkshire has availability for April and May

I saw on another thread - someone took the day off especially to book on THE day.  Making booking day a Sunday might give more people a chance.
