Bedding for Motorhome

Hello there

We are newbies to the motorhome world and have been getting organised for our first trips away. The buying of bedding is becoming stressful! So we have a Bailey Adamo 75-4i which has the fixed island bed that can be extended if required (won’t be required for us). It’s the sizing of the island bed and the bedding I am looking at which is confusing me.
I just want to buy a couple of fitted cotton sheets. Is it my old brain not getting it?

The sizing on the Bailey website is 6’1” by 5’3” . Any help or advice would be gratefully received.

Hi Katy,

We've always had excellent service and good quality bedding for our caravan from Jonic in Morecambe.  Just tell them the the make and model of your motorhome and they will make sheets to fit your bed.

Hope this helps.

Hi!
we used Jonic, perfect fit.  But, expensive, and one of the two fitted sheets we bought went bobbly as though it was poor quality cotton.

We saw a recommendation on this forum for Wilko Best Flexifit sheets.

They have a strong elastic gather and a lovely silky finish.  About £16 for a double.

We now have two for the caravan, which has a cutoff corner and wouldn’t go back to paying for a special size.

Well worth a try, you could always use it at home if it doesn’t work for you.

good luck, night night

We have used Jonic in the past as they provide bed linen for specific models. As mentioned they are not cheap but you are unlikely to be replacing them every five minutes? As its an Island Bed you could of course just buy King sized unfitted sheets and just tuck them under.

When we had a fixed bed I used ordinary fitted cotton sheets plus a quilted mattress cover, they were good quality and it wasn't necessary at all to buy something made especially to fit.
