I have a sterling Eccles 580 with Thule bars fitted on the rear as standard. So my question is how do I attach the bike rack to these bars? Was thinking about the the Thule g2 sport.

Hi,

First remove the two small plastic rivets from the plastic end of each bar.  These just prise out.  The plastic ends then just pull off revealing an "L" shaped steel bar which is pulled out.  Once removed the plastic caps about 50mm in from each end can then be removed.

Insert the arms of the cycle rack into the top openings and reinsert the "L" shaped steel bars.  Push the bottom arms of the cycle rack into the bottom openings and reinsert the "L" shaped steel bars.  The plastic end caps can then be refitted and the plastic rivets refitted.

Took me only a few minutes to do after assembling the cycle rack.

Hope this helps.
