Thanks guys for that info. On the paper options are the "Guide officiel Aires de services camping-car" and "Official guide for Camping and Caravaning" any good?

 

Search4sites pretty much covers what is in the paper publications, it works off line as well. The main advantage of Search4sites is it covers a wide variety of sites. Another App is Park4night, I had both on a recent trip but found myself using Search4sites all the time. It gave me everything I required without any trouble. One of the big advantages is the interface to sat navs and Google map to get directions or it gives co-ordintes to put into your sat nav if your interface is not included.

I find Campercontact to be the best for the EU.

Park4night app and the CAMPING-CAR.INFOS website will give you lots of Aires information. About 7000 municipal Aires in France alone.

camping car parks (app) will show Aires in the CCP group. These will have barriers accessed by a card. The app can tell you the number of spaces available and provides a booking option. About 80 Aires (some are converted municipal campsites) in the group.

We use search sites and park4night, the CCP Aires setup is excellent as you can see the price, number of pitches and the availability plus lots more info on their app.
