We have just purchased our first caravan and have 3 young kids. We are hoping to have our first trip later this month.

The kids are almost 6, 4 and 2 and can be very "excitable" at the best of times. We were wondering how people managed on there first caravan trip if they were in our situation? Any tips on lowering there excitement levels and settling into bed!?

I expect our first time to be pretty hard work in getting the kiddies to settle for bed and any advice would be appreciated and if you could share your similar experiences and how you got on then that would be great!

We intend on involving the kids with all the set up upon arrival on site and helping out with connecting pipes, filling aqua roll, putting up awning etc but we feel bed time could be a drawn out process!!

Many thanks
