Towing mirrors for latest VW Tiguan

Can you not disable the wing mirrors from folding in while you have extension/ towing mirrors on?  Just a thought!

Not as far as I can find so far.  Also I would like  to fold  them away on a car ferry for example.

You can (temporarily) disable the fold function. On your infortaintment screen select Car and then Settings. Scroll down to find Mirrors and Wipers. Uncheck Fold in when locking.  Then reverse when not towing. 

As an aside there are lots of things to tweak in there if you feel so inclined especially the setting that warns you when you go over the speed limit (I find that very useful !!!)

It is possible that the Kodiaq uses the same mirrors. Look on the parts and accessories discussions where PaulRT has an answer for the Kodiaq mirrors

Probably because it's the least intuitive forum on the web
