We are in the process of getting our first caravan and have been reading about wheel clamps. Seen a second hand Milenco Wraith wheel clamp for sale. Are they any good? Don't really know where to start! Thanks in advance ☺

We actually changed from a Alko to a Wraith as it's much easier to put on. It is a Sold Secure rating one and is acceptable to our insurance company and storage yard.

As with any anti theft device all you are doing is buying time as a really determined thief will eventually get through. Also make the thief look at an easier target so really consider having a hitch lock as well as a minimum and a then tracker.

Thank you, have decided  to go with the wraith and so are now on the lookout for a decent hitch lock!

As you say you're new forgive me if I say to fit the Wraith you'll need a torque wrench when you replace one of the wheel bolts. If you know this just ignore me

I swapped to a Nemesis Ultra a few years ago. It is a smaller, lighter and easier to fit than previous Bulldog Euro. This and my genuine Alko hitchlock seem to be a fairly common combination.

That's fine, one of the wheel bolts is replaced to accept the big yellow Wraith and it will need to be tightened to a set torque.
