Second time around

After a long break enjoying time with our horses and dogs we have come back into the fold of caravanning. We started our second journey last summer in a tent then moved onto a Dandy. Sadly we lost our last horse in January and being 51 and 50 respectively the wife and myself decided to buy something cheap and get back into caravanning. Along came a £400 Elddis which with a bit of TLC gave us two weekends away. Now the Elddis is sold and in its place is an Avondale Avocet which needs a little TLC but nothing major. Been away once in it and loved it to bits. We have just joined the club and are looking forward to meeting like minded people.

Thanks folks. I have just replaced the worm nut on the corner steady which had broken up. It had to be the one with the jammed pin and to boot the fixing bolts were under the toilet. Can't wait for better weather so I can do the reseal.

Hi Rob I am sure you will enjoy, I returned after horses too and find it much less stressful not towing animals!
