Hi all, we`re Ioana and Radu, a young couple looking forward to coming adventures. We`re new here and just at the start of the road laughing. We used to use a tent for our escapes but we decided that is time to buy a caravan. After lots of research - like comparing, calculating, measuring, pros and cons to each existent caravan, we stopped to one and we can`t wait the Covid19 period to end. The Lady kiss ticked all our boxes and will happily be welcome in our family, sister to Shrek cool (our car) and Pissy innocent the little one (mopped).

As newbies we welcome any advice on what are the best places to stay - we might not been there, caravan maintenance, where to store, etc. There are lots to learns! sealed scary...

We can`t wait to start the touring, hopefully by summer...fingers crossed and make new friends.

See you soon and enjoy the lockdown.

Welcome to the whole lot of you  laughing, There is a great amount of knowledge out here for you to hunt out. just don't expect great success with the "Search" feature tho' frown.

As to places to stay well that depends very much on your likes  --  some folks like mountains others prefer paddling off sandy beaches so you'll have to pick flies out of our suggestions to refine us down to what you like and not just what we like.

whatever happens enjoy that 'Lady'

Hello and welcome from me too.

Sadly we are currently without a motorhome 😢 but who knows when this is over?

As ABM has said plenty of knowledge on here so ask way. The search facility isn't much good, but has been 'upgraded' recently so who knows?

Stay fairly local for 1st trip, you can pop home for vital forgotten items! But as campers you'll probably have it sussed. Theres a good, if ling, thread on living without electric Hook up, plenty of time for you to read if you want to, it gives a lot more choice of sites 😀. I'll try to find the link and post it.

EDIT as feared the search isn't much if any improved, 1231 results on the title starting with a WOW wash! However Googe, same search,  give it as first item!

Welcome and what rotten luck to have to wait to start because of the lockdown. Have you checked out the Club's advice and help pages >here< and don't be shy, any thing you want to know ask on here.

Welcome.  As has been said, plenty of advice on here, sometimes conflicting because we all have our own ways of doing things/variations on a theme.

When we can start to get out and abut again, the best way to start is to go to a site that’s very local to your home fr a night or two to familiarise yourself with the ins and outs of your new home.  If you tell the wardens you’re new to caravanning they’ll be happy to help or advise, as will other members.  Some you may need to ask, and others won’t be able to resist imparting their wisdom 😉

Just remember, we’ve all started somewhere, had mishaps and disasters (and continue to do so), but you’ll soon get the caravanning bug and be old hands in no time.
