I have found one very helpful, especially when passing lorries on the motorway. Some monitors designed to be located on an interior mirror are highly reflective, which may cause problems. These are sold as reversing cameras. I found interference in a radio signal and hard wired it. Maplins have two pin sockets with a screw locking to keep it all together on the road. I see no reason why the spare terminal on the 13 pin plug should not be used to connect. If you go ahead do let us know how you get on.

If you go wireless ensure that you get a digital system and not one of the cheap Bluetooth ones from eBay. The cheap ones are very prone to interference.

Yes, wifi.
It's far from perfect to be honest, as the image is reversed, but as I already had one and it is more than adequate to check your past trucks or monitor tail gaters or watch the hedge as you back into the pitch and as you can start the recording from the phone, if someone is being an idiot behind, you can record them for evidence!
