Hello to everyone.

We have just brought a 2016 Eldis Riva Gold 554 and very pleased with it having just spent a few trial nights away when we collected it with our New korando 2 ltr diesel. It was excellent for towing. There are 4 of us in traveling, myself, my wife our dog and our navigator Flat Eric (see avatar picture). Flat Eric brings smiles to everyone he meets and any navigation faults are his, so no fall outs between the adults!

We are retired and intend to travel in the Uk from Wales and around Europe and the Nordic countries. There is a lot for us to learn as for the past 4 years we have been traveling in the USA in our own Class C 30ft RV. Having spent 2 and 3 month trips away boondocking (wild camping) for free and having an RV with solar, large tanks etc we have been able to be 7 days no problem at a time off grid in fabulous places. Our new adventure is going to be  challenge adapting. For instance our first trip we were horrified to find that the dump station facility for out thetford toilet was on a raised platform and not a hole in the gorund with cover. Backbreaking when also dumping the waste water 40 gallon tank!

There will be many questions from us for information on the forum and we hope we will alos be able to input useful information in return
