I was 100% new to it 2 years ago and apart from the dealer who talked me thru the van, there is nothing about getting onto a pitch and how to set it all up,i know the CC does towing classes etc but i was thinking it would be nice if the warden or a fellow member who is on site(who the CC/warden knows of thru bookings) is wlling to assist.

there is a lot to learn that the manual doesent tell you,you only learn thru getting it wrong,i had a friend show me for the first 2 trips and now 2 years on im still learning.

I was lucky when 2 fellow caravans came to help wth the awning before i damaged my new van,id be more than willing to put my name on a list so the CC new who the people were when new caravaners booked on site people who were happy to help.Swallow your pride and make sure you dont damage a expensive car/van/awaning.
