We originally had an old caravan and just went on 'on the cheap' holidays with it. As the family got older they flew the nest and that ended our caravan excursions. Now we are older and have the time and finances to take up caravaning again, we decided to invest in a brand new caravan and spend more time exploring new parts of our homeland. We take delivery tomorrow.

We've also booked our first trip in March 2019 so we have a lot of planning and excitement to look forward to, what we hope will be a relaxing and pleasant time.

In preparation , I have watched several videos on caravans and tips and tricks for making the most of the vehicle of our dreams. Many thanks to The Trudgians.

I hope to comment on the site and our experiences after our trip, so watch this space....

You mean this quote TW, on here we're "nothing like most of the campers you'll meet on a site."

I wonder what the rest are like? laughing

now you will appreciate why the other club advertise themselves as "The Friendly Club".

I have been on a few sites, "Woodovis" near Tavistock, being one, where they hire entertainers who perform for a couple of hours in the evening, mainly for children, but i thought it was a splendid idea, of course it is not a CAMHC site.

One man's Rap music is another mans cRap music. I see nothing unfriendly about not wishing to partake of another's music. In the unlikely event that I want on site entertainment I would seek out a site that provides.

Friendly, smiley, welcoming, none confrontational, not controlling. I found most folk on site generally good funπŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜Š

PS-I also never found a bad warden either.

I remember a guy strumming his guitar in his awning at Dunnet Bay and it was very pleasant.

Must be something in the water. I had an accordion player on the next pitch.

I can just about find my way around a guitar and wife plays trumpet. if that's any use. However, I was thinking of a a show of recorded music, Rock n Roll perhaps or even some classical stuff. I don't EVER play cRAP  music.

Beethoven's Pastoral symphony No 6 would be idyllic would it not?

Alternatively, you could take up EasyT's suggestion and pay me a quid to play it Far away, that way I could fund even more trips away. ( big smile).

For the Organ enthusiasts, there's always the Toccata and Fugue in D Minor as an alarm call.

Also, i'm open to requests so if there's anything in particular you wanted to hear, I'd probably have it. 'The Sound of Silence' perhaps? lol
