Greetings to  you all

My name is Judith - screen name Sr Julian as that is my alter ego.  I am due to collect my very first motorhome on Saturday 29 July and am looking forward to the freedom it will offer to me and my 2 boys (dogs) Henry and Arthur.

I was widowed 5 years ago and am feeling ready to spread my wings a bit and have adventures.

My home is in beautiful North Wales with a view of the Menai Straits from my window.  Any thoughts on where to go for my first venture (not too far from home) would be welcome.

I lhope to get to know members through this forum.

Am I too late to nominate Wirral Country Park? It's five minutes to the beach and the Wirral Coastal footpath and less than haf a mile from a wooden park where dogs run free [well-bheaved ones anyway!]. You can see Wales from the site.

Welcome Judith. I hope your quest for adventure is complete fulfilled- I'm sure it will be. You will have, as part of your membership, the site map and book. Many a happy hour I have spent studying it profusely! You will soon get to know some sites near to you and further afield. You will want to go to doggy friendly sites so check the book first. May I wish you all happiness in your touring adventures.

There's a lovely CL on Anglesey, Rosboeth.  Ideal for dogs as they don't have to be in their leads and there are two big fields for them to explore.

It has hook up, a shiny new shower and toilet and as it's set behind the tea rooms you can even order a take away breakfast.

We visited in May and will be returning next spring.
