Jill / carl ,over 25 yr touring caravan and our last three vans have been bessecar ,brilliant vans I.m.o

any way our 645 gl which we absolutely adore the layout and luxury for two , is getting bit tired. And we are looking to upgrade

How do you all get on with toilets on show end of a bed or the partition wall at the end in so many vans these days , really off putting and find end bathrooms nice but in practical at times if using front bed area for friends to stay over .

there must be a decent manufacturer that builds quality and gives thought to loo behind a door ,

any thoughts

We have been looking at new vans every so often too, as our present van (Sterling Searcher) is also getting on a bit, now 13, but we find the current ranges from Swift rather curtailed, and from Bailey too many are of the extra wide size.

We have a very good payload compared to many of the newer vans, and love our large walk-in shower, so we have not yet found anything we would rather have.

We are not sure about the centre bathrooms either, some do have a door to the toilet area, but with it closed the usable area is rather cramped.  I think possibly the idea is to leave it open in use and close off the front sitting area and the rear bedroom  instead.

The rear shower room suits us fine as we are 95% of the time just the 2 of us, very  occasionally my sister comes along, and we now sometimes have our daughter and 2 small grandchildren.
