Foggy headlamps

anyone know where in ayrshire i can get my headlamps polished to remove fogginess?

Others swear by WD40, a few say a mixture of toothpaste and WD40. A few suggest Brasso or Chome Cleaner. I think I'd do a test patch mind just to be safe.

Loads of kits on eBay to polish plastic headlights .... you usually start off with very fine wet & dry 🤤

Try Fenwicks scratch remover, or a marine acrylic paste for boat screens.

Apologies to the OP for of topic question to Huskydog . 

Is there a trade trick to cover or get rid of scratches on plastic wingmirror covers ?  Thanks in advance as I have to pop out just now but will check back here later.

It's just a case of using a cutting compound (such as toothpaste,T-cut etc) starting with the finest and cutting back the paint a small amount at the time otherwise you uncover the primer ,then finish with a good polish, it takes time and patience 

you now can get tubes of colour fill , if the scratches are too deep

Thanks for info.  They began to show up after a short while on our 'new to us' car so I'm  guessing it was just a temporary cover up job.
