Nice to learn that your first trip went well, newcasleys! It's also nice that the weather has been so good as that definitely helps!

Very best of luck with the new adventures.  It takes me back to caravanning alone with my two many years ago.  I have spent one night in a trailer tent and woke up to 4" of fresh snow!  But it was France in early February so I am sure you will be fine!

I remember taking the TT to France one Easter (it was in the Loire) and we were the only unit on site.  Weather was good during the day but so cold at night.  We awoke to frosts each morning.

Great fun!  And if you do need some help in the future just go right up and bang on the door of the biggest, oldest outfit you can see on site (probably with a Land Rover as well) as the occupants will have done it all in the past, and possibly are still carrying the right spare parts!

It's  always  a  good  move  to  go  to  somewhere  local  that  you  like,  takes  away  a  lot  of  "First Night"  stresses  and  fairly  easy  access  to  those  "must  haves"  that  you  left  on  the  kitchen  table  !!laughing
